This policy explains what Chosen Labs collects when you use chosenlabs.net, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Order information: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and what you ordered. You enter this at checkout.
  • Researcher confirmation: a record, with a timestamp, that you confirmed qualified research use for the order.
  • Messages you send us: anything you put in the contact form or email to us.
  • Basic visit data: pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, collected by our analytics.

What we do not collect

We never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered on our payment processor's page. Our analytics are cookieless, and we do not run advertising trackers.

How we use it

  • To take payment, fulfil and ship your order, and send order-related messages.
  • To answer your questions and handle returns, disputes and fraud checks.
  • To keep records we are required to keep and to protect against misuse of the site.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages are used so we can improve the site.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that need it to run the store: our payment processor, shipping carriers, our web host and analytics provider (Cloudflare), and our email provider. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our rights in a dispute.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed for tax, accounting and dispute purposes, generally up to seven years. Other messages are kept as long as needed to deal with your request.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the records we are required to keep. Email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security and age

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no system is completely secure. The site is intended for adults aged 21 and over and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page.
